GlowUp® is a photoluminescent materials brand owned and operated by Jolin Corporation. Founded in 2000, Jolin Corporation develops and supplies glow-in-the-dark pigments for coatings, printing inks, plastics, resins, rubber and silicone, and glass and ceramic applications.
The GlowUp® trademark is registered in the United States and the European Union.
Rather than recommending a pigment based only on glow color or brightness, we consider the complete application: the mixing medium, production process, particle size, body color, available light source, charging conditions and required afterglow performance. This application-led approach helps customers select a suitable material and reduce avoidable problems during testing and production.

Deep Understanding
Since 2000, our work has remained focused on glow-in-the-dark materials and their use under real manufacturing conditions.
Through customer projects, production experience and internal application testing, we have developed practical knowledge of how pigment performance changes across different media and processes. These include paints and inks, injection molding, extrusion, resin casting, rubber and silicone, and high-temperature glass and ceramic applications.
We evaluate more than the pigment itself. Dispersion, processing temperature, particle size, product thickness, base color, light exposure and the final use environment can all affect the visible result.
Problem Solving
Glow-in-the-dark pigment is a functional material, and the same grade can perform differently under different production and application conditions.
Common issues we help customers assess include poor dispersion, settling in coatings, blackening during plastic processing, insufficient charging under the available light source, reduced outdoor performance, and a mismatch between particle size and the selected production method.
We also work with customers who want to make a specific component, area or feature of their product glow. Based on the product structure, material, manufacturing process and intended effect, we help assess whether the concept is technically achievable and identify a practical starting point for testing.
Before recommending a product, we review the customer's medium, process, equipment conditions, intended use and target effect. Where a standard grade is not suitable, we evaluate whether another particle size or material specification would be more appropriate.

We work with manufacturers, formulators, distributors and product-development teams across a range of industries. Depending on the project, our role may include standard product supply, grade selection, sample testing, production troubleshooting or material customization.
Our international experience also helps us understand that customers in different markets may have different requirements relating to application methods, documentation, packaging and regulatory compliance.
R&D and Customization
Our R&D work is driven by real application problems and new performance requirements.
The technical team focuses on factors that directly affect customer results, including particle-size control, body-color improvement, initial brightness, afterglow performance, charging response, water resistance, heat resistance and compatibility with different production processes.
Current and completed development work includes fast-charging pigments, waterproof and heat-resistant grades, particle-size optimization, white-body-color development, plastic-specific materials, ultra-fine powders, and multi-color glow systems combining photoluminescent pigments with non-fluorescent color pigments.
Because project conditions vary, customization begins with an evaluation of the medium, manufacturing process and target effect. We do not treat customization as a simple change of color or particle size; each adjustment must remain compatible with the customer’s production conditions and final application.

Large-scale & Sustainable Production
It consists of two modern factory zones equipped with seven specialized production lines operating 24 hours a day, achieving a stable annual output of 200 tons. A dedicated 500-square-meter standardized warehouse is used to store semi-finished products at different stages, ensuring efficient coordination between order fulfillment and inventory management for fast, large-scale delivery.
We uphold our commitment to ecological responsibility throughout the entire production process, adhering strictly to green and sustainable practices. There are no emissions of waste gas, wastewater, or solid waste — ensuring pollution-free production that does not harm the environment. While maintaining large-scale supply capacity, we also contribute to the sustainable development of the industry.
Quality Control
Our quality control system comprehensively covers three key areas: raw materials, production processes, and testing equipment.

Raw Material Management: Each batch of raw materials undergoes strict inspection to ensure consistent performance and compliance with production standards.

Process Control: We monitor the entire production workflow and perform multiple inspections at critical points, creating a closed-loop quality management system that ensures materials remain within specification throughout the process.

Precision Testing: Using specialized dark boxes and high-precision instruments from brands like Konica Minolta and Omec, we objectively verify key parameters such as brightness and particle size according to the European DIN 67510 standard. Samples from each batch are retained to ensure full traceability.
Through this systematic approach, we ensure that every product leaving our facility meets the highest quality standards.
