It’s glad to share a special case with you: a customer Manon from Canada used GlowUp® luminous powder to make a series of exquisite luminous jewelry. This creation not only fully demonstrated the potential of luminous powder in the field of jewelry, but also added a unique appeal to jewelry design.
The customer picked ten different colors of luminous powder for this project:
- Natural luminous powder: Yellow-green, blue-green, and sky blue. These colors are really popular because they’re super bright and glow beautifully.
- Dyed luminous powder series: Yellow, pink-purple, nature-purple, orange, dark-red, white, and cerise. These colorful powders make the jewelry even more creative and unique, giving it more personality and a great selling point.
With these powders, the jewelry not only looks colorful and fun during the day but also glows beautifully at night. Plus, GlowUp® luminous powder is totally safe to use and doesn’t contain any harmful stuff. You can check out more details in our articles on SVHC compliance and EN71-3 standards.
Where You Can Use Luminous Jewelry
You can use luminous powder in all kinds of jewelry, like rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets. Whether you’re working with metal, wood, or other materials, you just need to pick the right adhesive, and you’re good to go.
How to Use Luminous Powder
It’s pretty easy to work with luminous powder, and there aren’t any special requirements for the adhesive you use. Just make sure it’s transparent and has a pH level between 6 and 8. Here are two simple ways to use it:
- Mixing and curing method: Mix the luminous powder with transparent resin, pour it into a mold, and let it cure until it sets.
- Surface coating method: Clean the jewelry surface, mix the luminous powder with an adhesive, and paint a thin layer over it.
For the best results, we recommend using powder with a particle size of 25-35 microns. You only need a small amount to make the jewelry glow. The powder charges super quickly—just a few seconds of light is enough for it to glow for hours in the dark. The first hour after charging is when it shines the brightest.
By adding GlowUp® luminous powder to your designs, you can make your products stand out and grab more attention from buyers. GlowUp® is here to help you create unique and eye-catching pieces that your customers will love.
